What does the free estimate include?
Every free estimate covers four things: an on-site measurement, a roof inspection, a review of system and color options, and a written price broken out line by line. On new construction, we can work from your plans instead.
On-site measurement
An in-house estimator measures each roof plane, ridge, hip, valley, eave and wall line. Our panels are cut to the length of every run, so exact quantities matter more than they do with shingles.
Roof inspection
We check the deck, count the existing layers, and look at flashing at walls and chimneys, ventilation and gutters. If hail or wind left marks, we note them for you.
System and color options
We compare what fits your roof: standing seam, metal shingles, stone-coated steel or exposed-fastener panels. You see gauges, finishes and the color chart, and we flag anything your HOA may ask about.
Written, itemized price
The estimate lists panels, gauge, finish, underlayment, trim and flashing, tear-off, disposal and add-ons such as pipe boots. It also names the warranty that comes with the system.

Free estimate questions
Is the metal roof estimate really free?
Yes. The visit, the measurements and the written price cost you nothing, and there is no obligation to buy. The estimate is yours to keep and to compare with other bids.
Can you price a roof from plans instead of a site visit?
Yes. For new construction and commercial work, send your plans and our in-house estimators will run the take-off from them. Builders and architects can request spec sheets and shop drawings through our contact page.
What should I compare between metal roof estimates?
Line up the panel profile and seam type, the gauge or metal, the paint system (PVDF or SMP), the underlayment, how the trim and flashing are made, tear-off and disposal, and the written warranty. A low number usually leaves one of these out.
Should I get an estimate right after a hail storm?
Yes, but call your insurance company first so an adjuster can inspect. Our inspection notes any damage we find. We never waive or absorb a deductible, because Texas law requires the homeowner to pay it.
Do I have to sign anything at the estimate visit?
No. You get a written price and time to decide. If you later sign an agreement at your home, Texas law generally gives you three business days to cancel it.
