Our Value Guarantee (PDF) works like this: within 30 days of signing and before work starts, bring a written estimate from another insured contractor for the same steel or aluminum system, scope and warranties. We match that price and credit another $500. Projects paid with insurance money do not qualify, and the PDF spells out every condition.

How Do PMRS Offers Work?

Every offer is a discount written on your estimate before you sign. The same five rules apply to all of them.

• A written estimate first. We measure the roof and itemize panels, trim, underlayment, tear-off and labor. Offers come off that estimate, never off an inflated list price. Our metal roof cost page explains what moves each line.
• One line on the estimate. The discount appears as its own line, so you see the regular amount and the saving side by side.
• One offer per project. Offers do not stack unless the offer page says so. The Curb Appeal Showcase is the one that allows the senior or military discount on top.
• Your deductible stays yours. On an insurance claim, a discount lowers the contract price we report to your insurer. Texas law (HB 2102) makes it illegal for a contractor to pay, waive or rebate a deductible, and we never do.
• A signed price is kept. Monthly offers apply to proposals signed by the last day of the month they run. If an offer changes or ends after you sign, your price holds.

What Should You Check Before Comparing Roof Offers?

Compare the roof first and the discount second. A large discount on a thinner panel, a cheaper finish or a vague warranty can cost more over the life of the roof. If you are weighing metal roof deals from several Texas contractors, check each one against this list.

• Gauge. A 24-gauge sheet carries roughly 28 percent more steel than a 26-gauge sheet, and the thicker sheet takes hail better. Ask which gauge the estimate assumes.
• Finish. A PVDF finish such as Kynar 500 holds its color and resists chalking longer than SMP in Texas sun. Compare colors on our metal roof color chart.
• Seam type. Snap lock, mechanical lock and exposed-fastener panels suit different roofs. Our standing seam guide explains the difference.
• Underlayment. Metal runs hot, so ask for a high-temperature underlayment rated for it.
• Impact rating. Ask whether the system has passed UL 2218 impact testing at the top level, Class 4.
• Warranty in writing. Get material, finish and labor coverage on paper. The coil coater’s finish warranty on our standard PVDF colors runs 40 years; read the rest on our warranty page.
• An itemized estimate. Ask for each part of the job, from panels and trim to tear-off and labor, on its own line, so you compare whole roofs and not just the size of the discount.
