What Is 5% Worth on a Typical Roof?
Five percent comes off the roof total on your written estimate, after we measure and itemize the panels, trim, underlayment, tear-off and labor.
Because the discount is a percentage, it grows with the size of the job: a bigger roof earns a bigger line. Our metal roof cost guide explains what moves the roof total.
Which Homes Qualify for the Featured Home Program?
A home qualifies when the roof can be seen clearly from a public street and it is a roof style we want more people to see. We decide at the estimate and tell you before you sign.
- The roof is in plain view from a public street.
- The roof style is one we want to show, such as a profile, color or home style we have few photos of.
- You agree to a yard sign for a set period we settle before you sign, wherever your HOA allows one.
- You agree to photos and video of the job and to our use of them in marketing.
If your home is not a fit this time, you still get the same free written estimate, and any of our other current offers you qualify for still apply.
How Do I Join?
- Book a free estimate and ask about the Featured Home Program.
- At the visit, we measure the roof and tell you whether the home qualifies.
- Your proposal shows the 5% as its own line, plus the sign period we agreed on.
- You sign, we build the roof, and we take photos and video along the way.
Do I Have to Write a Review?
No. The discount pays for the yard sign, the photos and the video. It never depends on a review, a star rating or anything positive you say about us.
We do not ask for an online review in exchange for the discount. You keep the full 5% whether or not you ever post one.
The interview is optional, and saying no does not change your discount. If you do give one, what you say is your honest opinion in your own words, and we do not script it. Whenever we publish a testimonial from a featured home, we disclose that the homeowner received a discount.
Why Does Showing Finished Roofs Matter in DFW?
Shingles still cover most roofs across the Metroplex, so many homeowners have never seen metal up close on a house like theirs. Color, seam spacing and how the panels catch the sun are hard to picture from a brochure.
A finished roof on a real street answers those questions in a few seconds. It also helps neighbors who face an HOA architectural review, because a board can see the product in place instead of judging a sample chip.
Which Roofs Are We Looking For?
Variety helps most. That can mean standing seam in a bold color, metal shingles on a brick house with an HOA, or stone-coated steel on a two-story home. Browse finishes on our metal roof color chart before the estimate.
Is There a Bigger Version of This Offer?
Yes. The Curb Appeal Showcase runs in summer. It takes 10% off the installed roof and adds a free upgrade to a crinkle (textured) finish for homes accepted as showcase homes. While it runs, choose one of the two, because the featured home discount does not combine with any other offer. That includes the senior discount and the military and first responder discount.
Terms that apply to every Permanent Metal Roofing Systems offer
- Offers are for new projects inside our Dallas-Fort Worth service area. A monthly offer applies to proposals signed by the last day of the month it runs.
- Every discount comes off the price on your written estimate and is shown on your proposal as its own line before you sign.
- One offer per project unless that offer says it can be combined. Offers have no cash value and do not apply to signed contracts, deposits already paid or finished work.
- On an insurance claim, a discount lowers the contract price we report to your insurance company. It is never applied to your deductible: Texas law (HB 2102, 2019) requires homeowners to pay their own deductible, and Permanent Metal Roofing Systems does not pay, waive or rebate any part of it.
- We can end or change an offer at any time. A proposal you have already signed keeps its price.

Do I have to leave a positive review to get the 5%?
No. The discount is for the yard sign, the photos and the video. It never depends on a review, a rating or a positive comment, and we do not ask for an online review in exchange.
What if my HOA does not allow yard signs?
We place a sign only where your HOA rules allow one. Bring the sign rules to your estimate, and we will tell you how they affect the program for your home before you sign.
Do I have to give an interview?
No. The interview is optional, and you get the full 5% either way. If you give one, it is your honest opinion in your own words, and we disclose your discount whenever we publish it.
Can I add the senior or military discount to this one?
No. The featured home discount does not combine with other offers. The Curb Appeal Showcase is the one offer that allows the senior or military and first responder discount on top, and only while it runs.
