What Does PMRS Ask of a Showcase Home?
We ask for three things: a roof the public can see from the street, a PMRS sign in the yard where your HOA permits one, and permission to photograph and film the work.
- Street visibility. Passers-by on a public street should have a clear view of the roof.
- A yard sign. It stays up for an agreed period noted on your proposal. No sign goes up where HOA rules forbid one.
- Photos and video. Our team can shoot the job from tear-off to the finished roof and use the footage in PMRS marketing.
- Acceptance. We look at each home before saying yes, mainly at how visible the roof is and how it will read on camera.
Reviews, Testimonials and the Showcase Discount
The 10% buys marketing access: the sign, the camera time and the footage. Your opinion of our work is not part of the deal.
- Your discount is fixed on the proposal before work starts, so nothing you say later can change it.
- We will not ask you to post a Google review, or a rating anywhere else, to earn or keep it.
- A testimonial is optional, and if you give one it reflects your honest view, including anything you would change.
- If we feature your words in our marketing, we state next to them that you received a showcase discount.
Why Does a Crinkle Finish Suit a Showcase Roof in Texas?
A crinkle finish has a fine wrinkled texture that cuts glare and hides the slight waviness flat metal can show. That matters most on a roof the whole street looks at.
The texture scatters light into thousands of tiny highlights. Under bright Texas sun, that means less glare toward neighbors and the street. It also makes oil canning, the soft rippling of a flat pan, much harder to spot. Read more in our oil canning guide.
Texture does not set how hot the roof runs. Color and pigment do, so a pale textured color still bounces back much more sunlight than a dark one. Dent resistance comes from the gauge, which is why we build house roofs from 24-gauge steel.
Textured colors come in a smaller range than smooth ones. Ask to see textured chips at your estimate, compare them with the smooth colors on our metal roof color chart, then see the profiles on our standing seam page.

Terms that apply to every Permanent Metal Roofing Systems offer
- Offers are for new projects inside our Dallas-Fort Worth service area. A monthly offer applies to proposals signed by the last day of the month it runs.
- Every discount comes off the price on your written estimate and is shown on your proposal as its own line before you sign.
- One offer per project unless that offer says it can be combined. Offers have no cash value and do not apply to signed contracts, deposits already paid or finished work.
- On an insurance claim, a discount lowers the contract price we report to your insurance company. It is never applied to your deductible: Texas law (HB 2102, 2019) requires homeowners to pay their own deductible, and Permanent Metal Roofing Systems does not pay, waive or rebate any part of it.
- We can end or change an offer at any time. A proposal you have already signed keeps its price.

Curb Appeal Showcase Questions
Is the showcase discount tied to a review or a rating?
No. It is tied to the sign, the photos and the video, and it is fixed on your proposal before work starts. We never ask for a Google review or a rating of any kind in exchange. If you decide to share a testimonial, it is your own honest view, and we note your discount anywhere we use it.
Which everyday discount can I stack with the showcase offer?
One of two, if you qualify: the everyday $500 senior discount or the everyday $500 military and first responder discount. The showcase is the only PMRS offer that can be paired with either of them.
Does my HOA have to approve the yard sign?
We follow your HOA sign rules. Where signs are not allowed, there is no sign, and the rest of the showcase terms still apply: a home visible from a public street and permission for photos and video.
Which roofs can get the free crinkle finish?
PMRS standing seam roofs, in the textured colors our current coil stock offers. We bring physical chips to the estimate. The coil coater sets the finish warranty for each textured color, and we write that term on your proposal.
How long does the yard sign stay up?
For a set period we agree on before you sign. That period, the photo and video permissions and the discount itself are all spelled out on your proposal.
