How the credit reads on your estimate
Say your house has 2,000 square feet of roof and you choose 24-gauge Kynar 500 standing seam. Your written estimate itemizes the roof after we measure, then shows a separate line taking off the $100 sample appointment credit.

- Panel profiles. Standing seam and exposed-fastener panels side by side, so you can compare seam heights and flat pan widths.
- Seam samples. See how a snap lock seam clicks over its leg, and how a mechanical lock seam is folded once or twice by machine.
- Color chips. Painted finish samples you can hold up against your walls and trim in daylight, from the yard and from the street.

Who qualifies: homeowners and property owners planning a project in our Dallas-Fort Worth service area, one credit per household. The $100 credit does not combine with monthly offers or the senior and military discounts. Every current deal is listed on our offers page.
Why Compare Metal Roof Samples at Your Own House?
Because Texas sun, hail and HOA reviews all turn on details a screen cannot show. A few minutes with real samples beside your own walls settles questions that photos leave open.
Color in your own light. A Dallas summer routinely brings a UV index of 9 to 10, and a chip can read lighter outdoors than on a monitor, so we hold it up where the roof will be. Lighter and cool-pigment finishes also reflect more heat. EPA says ENERGY STAR cool roofs can lower roof surface temperature by up to 100 degrees. Gauge you can feel. NICB analysis ranks Texas first among the states for major hail events, 11 years in a row. Holding 24-gauge and 26-gauge side by side makes the difference real: 24-gauge is roughly 28 percent thicker and dents less. Our Class 4 metal roofing guide covers impact ratings.
Finish that lasts. PVDF finishes such as Kynar 500 resist fading and chalking longer than SMP, which matters most on dark colors. For our standard PVDF colors, the finish is warranted for 40 years by the coil coater.

Terms that apply to every Permanent Metal Roofing Systems offer
- Offers are for new projects inside our Dallas-Fort Worth service area. A monthly offer applies to proposals signed by the last day of the month it runs.
- Every discount comes off the price on your written estimate and is shown on your proposal as its own line before you sign.
- One offer per project unless that offer says it can be combined. Offers have no cash value and do not apply to signed contracts, deposits already paid or finished work.
- On an insurance claim, a discount lowers the contract price we report to your insurance company. It is never applied to your deductible: Texas law (HB 2102, 2019) requires homeowners to pay their own deductible, and Permanent Metal Roofing Systems does not pay, waive or rebate any part of it.
- We can end or change an offer at any time. A proposal you have already signed keeps its price.

Do I have to travel anywhere to see samples?

Do I have to sign anything at the sample visit?
No. The visit is free and you are under no obligation. The $100 credit applies only if you later sign a project with us.
When does the $100 credit come off?
It comes off a project you sign with us after your sample visit. It is written on your estimate as its own line, so you see it before you sign. It does not apply to a contract signed before the visit.
Can I combine the sample appointment credit with other offers?
Not with monthly offers or with the senior and military discounts. If another offer would save you more, your estimator will point it out before you sign.
How should I prepare for the sample visit?
Have any HOA design rules and roof plans handy if you have them. Point out the brick, stone and trim colors the roof has to work with, and we can narrow the chips down quickly.
