What Do You Get With the Spring Storm Prep Offer?
You get 20% off the installation labor on any roof our crews install. After we measure, your written estimate lists labor as its own line, and the discount is 20% of that line.
The discount shows up as a separate line on your estimate, so its value is never buried. Our metal roof cost page explains the other lines and what moves them.
Only the labor line is discounted. Panels, trim, underlayment, tear-off, dumpsters and add-ons such as pipe boots keep their regular amounts on the estimate.

The percentage holds at any roof size, so the more labor a roof needs, the larger the saving.
Why Finish a Metal Roof Before Hail Season?
Because the worst North Texas hail usually arrives in late spring. A roof that is already on when storms line up is one less thing to chase.
By NICB and Verisk counts, Texas has topped every other state in major hail events for 11 years running. Counts vary by source, but Dallas by itself typically records somewhere around 10 to 20 hail events a year.
Timing matters as much as the roof. After a big storm, calendars fill and out-of-town crews knock on doors. The Texas Attorney General warns homeowners about contractors who push you to sign on the spot or pay cash up front. Booking before the storms lets you compare bids calmly.
What Makes a PMRS Roof Ready for Storm Season?
- 24-gauge steel. Our standard house panel carries about 28 percent more steel than 26 gauge, so it shows fewer dents.
- Concealed clips. Standing seam panels fasten with hidden clips, with no exposed screws for wind to work loose.
- Trim built for the roof. We bend eave, valley and ridge flashing in our own shop to fit your roof.
- Impact paperwork. UL 2218 Class 4 is the top impact class. We hand you the product records your carrier asks for.

It works in four steps, and the discount is on paper before you commit to anything.

- Mention the spring storm prep offer when you book, or tell your estimator at the visit.
- Read your written estimate. The labor line and the 20% discount each appear on their own.
- Sign during the offer window. We then set your crew date by signing order, material lead time and weather.

How Is This Different From the Winter Labor Offer?
Both offers discount the same labor line. Our winter crew labor savings takes a larger 30% because winter dates sit open on our crew calendar. Terms that apply to every Permanent Metal Roofing Systems offer
- Offers are for new projects inside our Dallas-Fort Worth service area. A monthly offer applies to proposals signed by the last day of the month it runs.
- Every discount comes off the price on your written estimate and is shown on your proposal as its own line before you sign.
- One offer per project unless that offer says it can be combined. Offers have no cash value and do not apply to signed contracts, deposits already paid or finished work.
- On an insurance claim, a discount lowers the contract price we report to your insurance company. It is never applied to your deductible: Texas law (HB 2102, 2019) requires homeowners to pay their own deductible, and Permanent Metal Roofing Systems does not pay, waive or rebate any part of it.
- We can end or change an offer at any time. A proposal you have already signed keeps its price.

Spring Storm Prep Offer Questions
Does the 20% come off the whole roof price?
No. It comes off the installation labor line only. Panels, trim, underlayment, tear-off and add-ons keep their regular amounts on your written estimate, and the 20% sits below them as its own line.
If I sign during the offer, will my roof be on before hail season?
We cannot promise the weather. We book crews in the order proposals are signed, and material lead times and rain days also set the date. Signing early in the offer window improves your odds of an install date ahead of the late-spring peak. Your proposal shows the expected schedule.
Can I use the spring discount on a roof that insurance is paying for?
Yes. The discount lowers the contract price, which is the figure your insurer sees. Your deductible is a separate matter: Texas law makes it yours to pay, and PMRS never covers, waives or refunds any part of it.
Will a metal roof stop all hail damage?
No roof can promise that. Stiff 24-gauge standing seam resists dents better than thinner panels, and a Class 4 product must show no cracks after a 2-inch steel ball is dropped on it from 20 feet. Very large stones can still dent metal, so read the cosmetic damage terms in your policy. Our Class 4 guide explains the ratings.
Does the spring offer stack with the senior or military discount?
No. It stands alone, one offer per project. If an everyday discount would save you more, your estimator will point it out.
