How Much Does the Shingle, Shake and Tile Offer Save?
It saves $100 for every full square of shingle, shake or tile roofing we install. A square is 100 square feet of roof, so the saving grows with the size of the roof.
We count whole squares only. Take the roof area from your roof plans, divide by 100 and drop any remainder.

The discount comes off your contract total as its own line on the written estimate. Everything else, from tear-off to the dumpster, is itemized as usual.
Only squares covered in a shingle, shake or tile system count. If part of the job is standing seam, such as a low-slope porch, that part is priced on its own line.
Who Pays for the Discount?
We do. Permanent Metal Roofing Systems funds this discount itself. It is not a manufacturer rebate, so there are no forms to mail and no check to wait for.
Which Shingle, Shake and Tile Lines Does It Cover?
It covers every metal shingle, shake and stone-coated steel line we install. That is two steel shakes from EDCO, five aluminum profiles from Classic Metal Roofing Systems and five stone-coated steel profiles from DECRA.

HOA Approval
Texas Property Code 202.011 leaves an HOA little room to refuse shingles designed to resist wind and hail. The roof has to resemble what the subdivision allows, outlast it and suit the street. Hail
EDCO rates ArrowLine and Generations HD at UL 2218 Class 4, and the listings from DECRA put its stone-coated profiles in Class 4 as well. For its aluminum lines, Classic Metal Roofing Systems points to UL impact reports. Deep shake texture and stone granules also hide small dimples better than a flat pan. Very large hail can still mark any metal, and many policies exclude purely cosmetic dents.
Heat and Weight
The painted EDCO and Classic lines carry PVDF finishes that hold color in Texas sun. DECRA Shake and DECRA Tile sit on battens, and the gap beneath them helps slow heat moving into the attic. Every one of these systems is a fraction of the weight of clay or concrete tile, an important point on a house first framed for asphalt shingles.

Claiming it takes four steps, and the discount is written down before you commit.

- Tell us which look you want, or ask us to bring samples from several lines.
- Check your proposal. It lists your full squares and the $100-per-square discount on its own line.
- Sign while the offer is live to keep the discount.
Any shingle, shake or tile roof we install in the service area qualifies.

Terms that apply to every Permanent Metal Roofing Systems offer
- Offers are for new projects inside our Dallas-Fort Worth service area. A monthly offer applies to proposals signed by the last day of the month it runs.
- Every discount comes off the price on your written estimate and is shown on your proposal as its own line before you sign.
- One offer per project unless that offer says it can be combined. Offers have no cash value and do not apply to signed contracts, deposits already paid or finished work.
- On an insurance claim, a discount lowers the contract price we report to your insurance company. It is never applied to your deductible: Texas law (HB 2102, 2019) requires homeowners to pay their own deductible, and Permanent Metal Roofing Systems does not pay, waive or rebate any part of it.
- We can end or change an offer at any time. A proposal you have already signed keeps its price.

Shingle, Shake and Tile Offer Questions
Is the $100 per square a manufacturer rebate?
No. PMRS funds this discount itself. It comes off your proposal as a line item before you sign, so there is nothing to mail in and no check to wait for.
How do you count full squares?
Divide the roof area from your roof plans by 100 and drop the remainder. A 2,450 sq ft shake roof is 24 full squares, so the discount is $2,400. Only areas covered in a shingle, shake or tile system count.
Does stone-coated steel qualify?
Yes. All five DECRA stone-coated profiles we install qualify: Shake, Shake XD, Shingle XD, Tile and Villa Tile. So do the EDCO steel shakes and the Classic Metal Roofing Systems aluminum shingles, shakes and tiles.
Will a shake or tile metal roof cut my insurance premium?
Possibly; your carrier decides. EDCO and DECRA state Class 4 ratings for their lines, and Classic publishes UL impact reports. Each Texas insurer sets its own credit, so ask us for the paperwork on your exact product and check with your agent before you sign.
Can I pair the per-square discount with a senior or military discount?
No. The shingle, shake and tile offer is one offer per project and does not combine with our everyday discounts or other monthly offers.
