What Do Fall Metal Roof Savings Take Off?

You get a fixed dollar discount in one of three steps: $1,000, $2,000 or $3,000 off an installed whole-house roof. The step depends only on how many square feet of roof we measure.

Measured roof areaFall discount
1,000 to 1,999 sq ft$1,000 off
2,000 to 2,999 sq ft$2,000 off
3,000 sq ft and up$3,000 off

Here is how one example reads. A roof that measures 2,400 sq ft lands in the middle step, whichever roof system you choose, so your written estimate carries a separate line for $2,000 off. The roof itself is itemized above that line: panels, trim, underlayment, tear-off and labor.

Roof area means the surface of the roof itself, measured from the roof plans, the same way our metal roof cost guide counts it. It is not the floor area of the house. Pitch and overhangs make most roofs larger than the footprint underneath.

Which Roofs Qualify, and How Do You Claim It?

Any whole-house roof that PMRS installs qualifies, in any roof system we install. Standing seam qualifies, and so do our metal shingle and shake and stone-coated steel systems. Roofs under 1,000 sq ft fall below the first step.

  1. Book the estimate. Use the form or call while the status above says the offer is running.
  2. Mention Fall Roof Savings. Tell us when we set the visit, so the estimator plans for it.
  3. Check the proposal. We measure the roof, and your step appears as its own discount line.
  4. Sign in the offer window. A signed proposal keeps its price, even after the offer ends.

This offer does not combine with other PMRS offers. If you qualify for more than one, ask us to price them side by side before you choose.

Why Is Fall a Good Season to Re-Roof in DFW?

Fall sits between the hardest heat of the year and the next spring storm season. A roof finished in fall is already on the house when the hail comes back.

In a typical year, DFW hits 100 F or more on roughly 20 days, nearly all of them in summer. Long afternoons on a hot metal deck slow every crew. Fall days are milder, so tear-off, underlayment and panels move at a steady pace.

Hail is the other reason. Year after year, Texas tops national counts of damaging hail events, and DFW storm activity builds toward a late-spring peak. A fall install means your roof starts storm season new, not tired.

The panel we quote by default is 24-gauge steel, roughly 28 percent thicker than 26-gauge. That extra steel is the normal spec where hail is common, and it resists dents better. Our Class 4 metal roofing guide covers the UL 2218 impact test in detail.

Timing also works in our favor because we form our own panels. We roll-form them to each roof run, either in Mesquite or with a mobile roll former set up at your house, and bend the trim ourselves, so a signed fall job never waits in line at an outside shop. Our standing seam roofs come with a lifetime non-prorated limited warranty that covers both material and labor, so read its terms before you sign.

Terms that apply to every Permanent Metal Roofing Systems offer

  • Offers are for new projects inside our Dallas-Fort Worth service area. A monthly offer applies to proposals signed by the last day of the month it runs.
  • Every discount comes off the price on your written estimate and is shown on your proposal as its own line before you sign.
  • One offer per project unless that offer says it can be combined. Offers have no cash value and do not apply to signed contracts, deposits already paid or finished work.
  • On an insurance claim, a discount lowers the contract price we report to your insurance company. It is never applied to your deductible: Texas law (HB 2102, 2019) requires homeowners to pay their own deductible, and Permanent Metal Roofing Systems does not pay, waive or rebate any part of it.
  • We can end or change an offer at any time. A proposal you have already signed keeps its price.

Fall Roof Savings FAQ

How do you measure my roof for the fall discount steps?

We measure the roof surface in square feet from the roof plans, the same way our cost page does. Your step comes from that number, not from the floor area of the house. The measured area and the discount both appear on your written proposal.

What if my roof is just under the next step?

The measured area decides the step. A roof that measures 2,950 sq ft sits in the $2,000 step, and a 3,000 sq ft roof moves to $3,000 off. You will see the measurement on the proposal, so you can check it.

Does the fall discount apply to a commercial building?

No. Fall Roof Savings is for whole-house roofs on homes. Commercial roofs are quoted on their own scope, with engineering and submittal documents when the project calls for them. See commercial metal roofing to start that conversation.

Does the fall offer cover garages or repairs?

No. It covers installed whole-house roofs only, so repairs and stand-alone outbuildings do not qualify. A detached garage or shop added to a house roof has its own early-winter offer: the garage and shop roof add-on.
